FALL/WINTER 2026 CABARET AT THE BOX

During New York Fashion Week, I presented Dodiee’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection as an intimate cabaret at The Box, a night of movement, music, and women who continue to inspire the brand.

From the beginning, I knew I wanted this season to feel alive, emotional, and deeply personal, not just another runway show. On a recent trip to Paris, I was struck by the storytelling of cabaret, the way music, movement, and costume fuse into something that lingers long after the lights go down. I wanted to bring that feeling back with me.

The Box, with its iconic and atmospheric energy, felt like the perfect setting. Being surrounded by such an incredible creative team also made the night what it was. Dena Giannini shaped the styling with effortless precision, translating the spirit of the collection into something both cinematic and intimate. Marjorie Ascione gave the performance its pulse through movement, and the music by Blastar wove everything together, from Joe Dassin to Whitney Houston to Dalida, each song holding memory and resilience.

We opened with an unforgettable performance by the legendary Pat Cleveland, whose presence set the tone immediately, expressive, magnetic, full of history. From there, our dancers carried the narrative forward, embodying the collection through movement rather than procession.

More than anything, the presentation was a celebration of collaboration. It was not just a fashion show, but a reminder that fashion, like performance, is a vessel for storytelling. The night moved quickly, filled with applause, laughter, and shared emotion, the kind of evening you wish you could pause for just a moment longer.
